This 50-minute crash-course offers attendees an introduction to Internet of Things (IoT) radio frequency (RF) communications and RF analysis using software-defined radio. Kevin will demonstrate setting up an RF communication link between two Arduino devices and then walk attendees through step-by-step how to capture, analyze and decode the communication using an inexpensive RTL2832U USB TV tuner and open source GNU radio tools.
