Jeffrey Sweet

Bio: Jeffrey J. Sweet is currently managing the Cyber Security Testing and Assessments team at American Electric Power (AEP). The team focuses on Penetration Testing, Application Testing, Vulnerability Assessments and Third Party Risk Governance. Jeffreys background begins with his 14 years as a member of the United States Army where he spent the majority of his time as a Military Policeman. He held roles of Chief of Military Police Investigations and Personal Protective Services in Berlin during the time of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of East and West Germany. In those roles Jeffrey honed his leadership, investigative and risk identification and management skills which he has transformed into his role as an Information Security Professional. Jeffrey has been at AEP for over 5 years where he has been involved in the development of a Third Party Risk Governance Program which includes Third Party Risk Assessments and Cyber Security Contract Supplements.
