Matthew Curtin

Bio: Matthew Curtin is the founder of computer expert firm Interhack. He leads the firm's engagements on data breach, compliance, and computer crime in civil, criminal, military, and administrative matters throughout the United States. His opinions have been used in precedent-setting cases in privacy, data breaches, and use of electronic evidence in criminal proceedings. He was one of the leaders of the first-ever break of a message encrypted with the Data Encryption Standard (DES), the 56-bit system that was replaced after the widely-publicized result.
