GRC - Session #1 - Keith Fricke Published information about IAM implementations often times mention failure. IAM solutions are complex to implement and the technology is not the only thing to tackle. This case study provides insights into the IAM system successfully implemented at Mercy Health. It also highlights significant lessons learned, challenges encountered and pitfalls to avoid. The presentation includes successes achieved and plans for the future.

Bio: Keith Fricke is the Chief Information Security Officer for Mercy Health, the largest not-for-profit hospital system in Ohio. Keith has 29 years of IT experience, the last 15 of which focused on Information Security. He frequently speaks at national, state, and local security events. He has been a member of the Cleveland InfraGard chapter since 2003 and on the Board since 2008. He has been CISSP certified since 2002, earned his MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College and his undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University's Fenn College of Engineering. He is also an adjunct professor at Ursuline College where he teaches undergrad MIS courses in their UCAP program and teaches project management courses in their graduate MBA program.
