Practical hardware attacks against SOHO Routers & IoT -- is focused on showing folks how to use hardware attacks to get initial access IoT Devices for security research. The talk is designed for people new to hardware hacking, looking to have fun exploiting SOHO routers and the Internet of (broken) Things.

Chase "f47h3r" Schultz is a Senior Security Consultant at Independent Security Evaluators. He works mainly as a penetration tester & security analyst helping clients expose and remediate vulnerabilities in software. In the past he has worked at Forture 500 companies, and small security firms as a Security Engineer, Reverse Engineer, and Penetration Tester. Besides work, f47h3r spends the wee hours of the night bug hunting & doing security research on emebedded systems. He also <3 the Derbycon Family.
