Electronic Firearm Safeties! They are a panacea! No wait – a profit motive! Instead of throwing invectives at people with differing opinions we decided to look at the factors impacting adoption of electronic safeties. We have a framework that should address most of the issues and enable people to choose or build their own control unit. This unit interfaces with the physical locking mechanism from the framework. To make things interesting we also want users to be able to retrofit their firearms with the tech if they choose to do so. The cost to use the framework for free!
