Description:STRC is the result of a Masters project done at the University of Louisville, Computer Engineering/Computer Science department. The cloud provides numerous virtual machines for security training through classes given within the CECS department, the UofL CCDC team, as well as conducting research on various security topics. This talk provides an overview of the cloud, what was used to build it (keeping cost as low as possible), how it is being utilized, and what the future looks like for STRC.

Bio:Jimmy is a graduate of the University of Louisville with a degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science. At UofL Jimmy competed in the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition for three years, took as many security courses as possible, and worked as the network administrator for the the CECS department’s research network. Jimmy loves to tinker, learn as much as possible, share his knowledge, and have a good time.
