Getting youth interested in infosec from a youth's perspective. - Tristan Messner BSides Cleveland 2019 (Hacking Illustrated Series InfoSec Tutorial Videos)

Getting youth interested in infosec from a youth's perspective.
Tristan Messner

@wolfshirtz

Getting the next generation interested in cyber security is very important. There are a lot of excellent programs available already, but many young people are not aware of these programs(CTFs, youth scholarships, affordable conferences like bsides , and free training material). I want to present ways that infosec professionals can help inform youth of these programs and to inspire youth to enter this field.

I am a high school student who is taking college classes for cyber security. In terms of experience I am an avid CTF player and have written the github_exfil module for SILENTTRINITY.
