This talk will introduce five different security-related hardware hacking projects that are great for beginners and can each be completed within a few hours and for under $30. Examples of the projects include travel router hacking with OpenWRT, building a directional Wi-Fi antenna, HID RFID snooping and spoofing with Arduino. A bill of materials and instructions for each project will be available online following the conference.
