State of the Metasploit Framework - James Lee Derbycon 2015 (Hacking Illustrated Series InfoSec Tutorial Videos)

State of the Metasploit Framework
James Lee
Derbycon 2015

This talk will take over where we left off last year. I'll cover some of the awesome new capabilities added to the Metasploit Framework in the last 12 months. git log --since="2014-09-23"

egypt is the Metasploit Community Manager for Rapid7 where he hacks things on and with the Metasploit Framework. Before coming to Rapid7, he was a Cybersecurity researcher for Idaho National Laboratory where he discovered numerous vulnerabilities in SCADA and Industrial Control Systems. egypt has presented at Defcon, BSidesLV, Blackhat, Derbycon and other venues. Note that egypt is not Egypt. The two can be distinguished easily by their relative beards -- Egypt has millions, while egypt only has the one.
