Carolyn Engstrom

Bio: Carolyn has over 15 years of information technology audit experience. Nearly half of her professional career was spent in Big Four consulting and risk management, including two years in New Zealand. She was on the inagural Sarbanes-Oxley compliance team at Target Corporation. Carolyn served the State of Minnesota in the Office of the Legislative Auditor. As the IT Audit Manager she was responsible for planning security and privacy audits of the Executive and Judicial branched. Currently she works as IT Audit Coordinator for Xcel Energy with a focus on cybersecurity of critical infrastructure. Her areas of expertise include Business Continuity Planning, Data Analytics, and implementation of information technology controls frameworks.
