Highlights of CMU’s Recent Work in Preventing Bad Passwords - Sean Segreti, Blase Ur

Abstract:We will highlight our CMU research group's work analyzing passwords we have collected in different experiments, as well as comparing these passwords to those used at our university.

Bio:Both speakers are Ph.D. students at Carnegie Mellon University who have conducted and published studies of password security and usability. They will be representing the full passwords research group at CMU, which comprises three faculty and more than 10 students.
