Living in the Future: It seems to be in Beta - Jeff Goeke-Smith Notacon 11 (Hacking Illustrated Series InfoSec Tutorial Videos)

Living in the Future: It seems to be in Beta
Jeff Goeke-Smith
Notacon 11

Synopsis
Living in the future is hard. For many years, Jeff has been exploring new user interfaces, new technology, and new ways of working. About half of the time, it breaks, and the times it doesn’t break, it’s never as cool as the demos seem to make it. The questions of which parts will or won’t become common seems to be the first question most people ask, but more interesting to Jeff is how we will re-define what is possible in the process of adopting the technology.

Bio
Jeff is an avid explorer of technology. As an infrastructure architect for a living who uses liberal quantities of perl one-liners on a daily basis, he knows that the infrastructure is there to serve some other greater purpose. Jeff likes exploring what the future of those purposes look like.
