Synopsis
From game shows to warfare, strategic decision-making surrounds us every day, whether you realize it or not. Game theory is a branch of economics, mathematics, and psychology that deals with these types of decisions. This talk will cover the basics of game theory – including normal form games, matrix notation, and common game forms – as well as applications and examples.

Bio
I have had a multitude of careers in my relatively short life. From artist to CAD engineer to dog trainer to bartender to data scientist to college professor. Currently I work as a data analyst at a private economic consulting firm in Cleveland. I dropped out of art school to pursue degrees in accounting, business, liberal arts, and economics.
