Hack3rcon 4From wireless keyboards to wireless handsets, most corporations use a
variety of radio technologies without giving much thought into securing
them against passive attacks and eavesdropping. This introductory talk
will act as a tutorial for building your own Software Defined Radio
(SDR) using GNU Radio and a cheap TV tuner dongle.
During a demonstration, we will receive, decode, and extract information from
radio signals using the SDR. Additionally, this talk will cover some of
the legal issues involved with listening to random frequencies in the
radio spectrum.
