Why not build one? During this talk, we will share the results from testing the performance and features of 10 different low-cost travel routers that can run OpenWrt. We will then show you how to install OpenWrt and configure these routers as a dropbox in under an hour. Finally, we will explore some of the best OpenWrt software packages available for penetration testers.

Michael Vieau, CISSP, CEH, GSEC, GISP Michael is a Consultant with 403 Labs. As you can tell from his certifications, Michael takes great pride in furthering his education to maximize his value to clients. His numerous certifications augment his already extensive experience in the information technology, healthcare and manufacturing industries. Kevin Bong, GSE, PMP, QSA, GCIH, GCIA, GPPA, GSEC, GCFA, GAWN Kevin is a Manager at 403 Labs focusing on information security and compliance issues faced by financial institutions. Prior to joining 403 Labs, Kevin spent 12 years as a Vice President of a multi-billion-dollar financial group, leading the bank's security and IT risk management activities. Kevin is the creator of the MiniPwner, a pocket-size penetration testing device used to get remote access to a network. He's also an author, instructor and a speaker at conferences like RSA, DerbyCon, Security BSides and WACCI.
